Located in the foothills of Pikes Peak, the Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs area is known as a hikers and mountain climbers haven. If you are looking for a place to take in beautiful mountain landscapes then Colorado and Manitou Springs is the place to go. Plan to spend a day ascending 14,110 feet to the summit of the Peak, which is accessible by car, by rail, or by foot via numerous hiking paths. The view is truly inspiring.

Once you have conquered the Pikes Peak summit doesn’t mean your trip is over, there is a plethora of attractions to explore including the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the U.S. Air Force Academy and an authentic old western town reconstructed from buildings that were abandoned after the region’s gold mining era.
