From the moment you board the ferry or one of the frequent flights to Martha's Vineyard, it's clear you're embarking on a special journey. You begin to decompress as you travel to a place rich in history, inspiration, creativity, and beauty. Martha's Vineyard is located just 7 miles off of Cape Cod, surrounded by Vineyard and Nantucket Sounds to the North and the North Atlantic Ocean to the South.

Among the island's towns, you're sure to find the Vineyard that's right for you. With stately Greek revival houses dating back to the whaling era of the early 19th century, Edgartown is a seaside village of boutique shopping and pristine harbor views. For more of a "beach town" feel, Oak Bluffs has the Flying Horses carousel, an arcade and an easy walk to the beach, plus the history and charm of the "gingerbread" houses in the Methodist campgrounds. Vineyard Haven offers visitors a blend of both. For a real retreat, Chilmark/Aquinnah is the place to get away from it all. In the off-season, the island is quieter and far less crowded, but the shore is always beautiful. Whenever you visit, leave your car behind! Cabs are plentiful and greet the incoming ferries to help you reach your destination. Most visitors prefer to explore the island on a bicycle, scooter or tourist-friendly public buses.

A stage adaption of the book by Laura Joffe Numeroff, this play is a surefire giggle-generator! Who would ever suspect that a tiny little mouse could wear out an energetic young boy? The Boy gets his irrepressible furry guest a cookie, and that starts a cascade of comical catastrophes...and when Mouse wants to clean up his own messes, he leaves behind an even bigger mess than when he started. It's a joyful and witty roller coaster of side-splitting situations as Mouse's chaos-causing antics just can't be stopped - from figure skating on scrub brushes to wrestling boa constrictors. Adults and children alike won't want the fun and follies to end! After a long day of mishaps and misadventures, Mouse is thirsty -- and as the exasperated Boy goes to get him some milk, we all wait for the line we know is coming - "Could I have a cookie?" If you thought you knew the story of "The Princess and The Pea," this nutty and charming retelling is a musical comedy gem! Did you know that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that Lady Larken's love for Sir Harry provided a rather compelling reason that she reach the bridal altar post haste? Or that it wasn't the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Carried on a wave of wonderfully witty songs and delightfully brilliant lyrics, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are you'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again. Nominated for a Tony Award for Best Musical, Mattress is a masterpiece that's as fresh and funny as ever!
