The Richmond Victorian Inn
0175_01_0018 Nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains, The Richmond Victorian Inn is a lovely, restored 1850's Queen Anne Victorian House located in the small Vermont town of Richmond. The Inn's six guest rooms are decorated in a country Victorian style and include many antiques. The Inn also has a large yard with flower gardens and maple trees. Twelve miles east of Burlington and Lake Champlain, many recreational opportunities, including the Long Trail and other hiking/walking trails, boating, fishing and swimming in area lakes, rivers and ponds, as well as both downhill and cross country skiing are within a few minutes drive. There are back roads to explore by car or bicycle, snowmobile trails and snowshoeing trails within easy reach. Shopping for antiques, at the outlet stores, on the Church Street Marketplace and other shopping malls are only a short drive away. Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, The Vermont Teddy Bear Company, The Shelburne Museum and Shelburne Farms are all less then twenty minutes away. A full country breakfast featuring Vermont specialties (Harrington's bacon and sausage, local maple syrup and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters coffee) is served family style each morning in the sunny dining room. The Inn can also host small meetings and conferences (up to 15 people) and provide meals for such meetings.
