12th FLIC - Tabloid
When:
Absinthe House, 1109 Walnut St
Where:
Thursday, November 10.
Academy Award-winner Errol Morris' TABLOID follows the much stranger-than-fiction adventures of Joyce McKinney, a former "beauty queen" whose single-minded devotion to the man of her dreams leads her across the globe and directly onto the front pages of the British tabloid newspapers. Journey with Joyce through a surreal world of gunpoint abduction, manacled Mormons, oddball accomplices, bondage modeling, magic underwear and dreams of celestial unions. This notorious affair is barking mad. On-line sales go until 5pm, day of show. Tickets are otherwise available at the door if not sold out. Be a FLICer and donate to Meals on Wheels of Boulder and BCAP's Food Bank. FLIC celebrates food and art (ok, and libations) but some aren't so fortunate as we are. Buy tickets, drink, eat, enjoy independent art and help someone else at the same time. Only 100 seats are available in advance. Tickets purchased here will put you on the will-call list - - no long lines to stand in! You will not get a paper ticket or an e-ticket so you'll just need your ID and a smile to pick up your tickets. Check out upcoming FLICs at http://www.flicboulder.org
