Speaker: Siobhan M. Greene, Executive Director, CASA Monterey County More than 300 local children live in Monterey County's foster care system because of parental abuse, neglect or abandonment. In the face of trauma, stress and change these children need someone focused on their best interests. The work of CASA is central to fulfilling our fundamental obligation to advocate for a child's right to be safe, treated with dignity, and learn and grow in the security of a loving family.
