LAUREN SHERA Once I Was A Bird, Lauren Shera's second album, was born out of study at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music. Musically inspired by Traditional, Appalachian, and Irish Folk, as well as Old Timey music, and emotionally inspired by the ache of a healing heart, the album offers solace in its richly textured arrangements, gorgeous melodies and stirring poetry.
