Where:
Friday, September 23.

About the class: A Vinyasa Flow class uses consistent, steady breathing to link a series of poses together in a flowing, fluid manner, encouraging the body to move as nature intended. It tones and strengthens your body through isometrics and isotonics, while lengthening the muscle tissue to improve overall flexibility. Within the first few practice sessions you will feel strong and calm, more energized and alive, and in time you will awaken in a whole new body. But the physical changes are only a by-product of a more empowering purpose. The real miracle is what starts happening underneath, within you. You will notice that lifelong fears start to dissipate, blocked emotions are released, the mind gets quiet and gains startling clarity, and you experience mental shifts that free you from old thought patterns. Flow All classes are very well-rounded and is offered to all levels of ability, from the beginner to the experienced yogi. About the teacher: Brooke Lyn Seiz discovered yoga through her experience in dance and performance. She began teaching in 2004 in New York City, balancing her work as an actress, singer, and dancer. In the last seven years, she has routinely taught yoga for her fellow artists, combining the breath and grounding of yoga with the focus performers seek before walking onstage. Brooke went on to become a 500-hour registered yoga teacher in 2009 through Yogaworks of NYC. She's volunteered in Ghana, West Africa, teaching yoga to local drummers & dancers, and moved to Denver in 2010 to begin a two-year holistic nutrition program at the Nutrition Therapy Institute. Brooke's classes include a balance of flow with alignment. She hopes to provide a space for people to discover, grow, and find peace in their own lives.
