Description
The Pintail Point Sporting Clay course is available year round, seven days a week, rain, snow or shine. Shooting options include twenty-two diverse shooting stations offering an exciting array of targets, a water-backdrop wobble trap and a unique 5-stand with 7 traps including a tower. All target presentations can be modified to accommodate shooting skill levels. The course is handicapped accessible. Both addictive and challenging, sporting clays is often referred to as "golf with a gun". Instead of sinking a ball into a hole, shooters aim to break targets along a designated course. Sporting Clays began as a way for hunters to practice their skills on shooting courses designed to simulate different hunting situations. "Birds" were shot into the sky while "rabbits" and similar animals ran along the ground.
