Friday, December 9th at 7PM Saturday, December 10th at 7PM Sunday, December 11th at 2PM The Story of Nutcracker, danced to the music of Tchaikovsky, is a holiday tradition you don't want to miss. From the Nutcracker Prince to the Sugar Plum Fairy to the Rat Queen, this Dance Kids production will delight audiences of all ages. Come see the magic of the dancing Soldier Dolls, Sugar Plums, Candy Canes, and Snow Flakes. The stage will be filled with 100 talented young dancers ages 4 through 18. Plus featured guest artists including world champion theatrical dancer, Gary Franco from Los Angeles, Zuri Gldman, Arthur Coleman and the Executive Director of Pacific Repertory Theatre Stephen Moorer as Mother Ginger! Approximate length 1 1/2 hours with intermission. Directed by Tia Brown and produced by Alan and Carol Richmond. Dance Kids is a non-profit, youth performing arts organization. Opening Night Gala Join us at this elegant reception in the festive Sunset Center lobby, with fine wines and gourmet hors d'oeuvres. A fabulous collection of items will be available to bid on in our live and silent auction. Starts at 5:00 pm prior to the Friday night performance. Tickets include preferred seating. Sugar Plum Fairy Party Join us for a lovely luncheon party with children's activities and music in the festive Sunset Center lobby. Meet the Sugar Plum Fairy as well as other costumed cast members and enjoy a photo opportunity for your child. Starts at 12:00 pm prior to the Sunday matinee.
