Harrison Memorial Library (HML), on Mission Street and 6th Avenue, in Carmel announced today its second speaker for its 2012 Local History Lecture Series. These public programs are funded by the Frank and Eva Buck Foundation, and Robert and Lacy Buck. She has been Director of the Center for Steinbeck Studies (previously The Steinbeck Newsletter). She has published widely on Steinbeck, most recently A Journey in Steinbeck’s California (2006). Join Susan Schillinglaw for a talk about two famous regional authors, John Steinbeck and Robinson Jeffers.
