A Central Coast businessman has started a grass-roots campaign to clean up Monterey one block at a time. He invites others to join him and protect our world. Mission Statement: We are committed to stopping plastic and trash from getting into our oceans and waterways, by daily cleaning the streets and areas which feed contaminants into our water. Coastal cleanup day and Earth Day are great, but only one day a year. Just One Block focuses this attention everyday. For example, in New Monterey only, we picked up 189lbs of plastics and recycling, otherwise headed directly into the bay, in just 19 Days.
