 | Peter L. Hans - President
Peter Hans has been the Resort Maps Franchise president since he acquired this family-owned business in 2005. Prior to joining Resort Maps, Peter served as chief operating officer for a Vermont-based technology company. He worked as an investment banker in Zurich and London before settling in Vermont. It was during those twelve years in Europe that Peter was able to fully tap into his love for travel and make a few perfect turns on the slopes of Zermatt and other top European ski resorts. He’s a New Englander at heart having attended St. Michael’s College in Vermont and having fallen in love with Rhode Island where he spends as much time as possible on mini-vacations with his wife and two daughters. His passions include skiing, sailing, golf, tennis and hiking. Aside from his British wife, Sue, his favorite travel partner is Larry Murphy, the man who sold him Resort Maps. “When we do new maps together we golf, laugh, sip single malt and work on the creation of great maps,” Peter says. |
 | Barbara Murphy - Administration & Accounting
Barbara works as Resort Maps’ corporate secretary, assuring that the day-to-day activities run smoothly. She’s very much the anchor of the company, particularly since she has been with Resort Maps for twenty years. Barbara loves taking road trips with family and friends and enjoys being spontaneous about packing up the van and hitting the road. No wonder she’s an operations manager. |
 | Thomas "Buddy" Murphy - Production Manager
As Resort Maps’ production specialist, Buddy oversees all aspects of map preparation. He’s a fan of high peaks and beaches, so it should come as no surprise that he likes snowboarding, sky diving, bungee jumping and fishing. But he likes skiing with his granddaughters most of all.

Her travels also allow her to embrace two of her other passions: the outdoors and photography.
