My wife, Kathy and I, sold Resort Maps Franchise, Inc. to Peter Hans in 2005 but stayed on as franchise owners. We continue to love owning and operating our five map franchises in New England and Florida and expect to profit from the direction that Peter is taking the company. Our business is not only profitable but affords us a quality of life that would be difficult to achieve in most other businesses. I became familiar with “The Best of” maps in and around 2000, while I was working as a regional sales manager for Corporate American and traveling to a variety of the locations where Resort Maps were being distributed.
