Situated between High Rock Lake to the east and Lake Norman in the west, Rowan County is one of North Carolina’s oldest and most scenic communities. One of Rowan’s most prominent towns is its county seat, Salisbury. Known as a “Heart of the Arts” and “Antiques Capital,” Salisbury is home to a historic downtown district filled with grand old houses, quaint stores, cafes, museums, antique shops and art galleries.

Rowan is a county where community and quality of life are values revered and revealed in every street, town and farm. From its southern-most border a short distance from hectic Charlotte to its northern tip at the Yadkin River, Rowan is unique, a place its citizens are proud to call home; a treasure nestled in the heart of the Piedmont.
