Offering the visitor traditional southern charm is the Historic Downtown Hendersonville. In March of 1988, Historic Downtown Hendersonville was entered into the National Register of Historic Places. This historic district has thriving businesses such as specialty shops, antique stores and restaurants.

The American Legion Post 77 meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 7 p.m. Any person who has completed some form of prior military service is welcome to attend. To become a member, you will have to have served during a time of war.
