Casa Alvarez is a Boulder Institution. Over the past 17 years many Mexican Restaurants have come and gone but Casa has remained a great place for tasty food and great margaritas at a reasonablwe price. A friendly place where "regulars" are know by name by the staff and the owners. The quality has actually improved, the Carne Asada is grass fed beef, the cactus dishes are out of this world! You don't find these flavors anywhere else. They would not have thrived for 17 years if they did not do all these things right!!!
