BaseballBronco League Baseball World Series Converges on Monterey
August 4-11, 2011


PONY League baseball provides baseball and softball to children ages 7 – 18.  Competitions lead to seven World Series by age group, including the Bronco World Series for 12-13 year olds, held annually at Jack’s Park in downtown Monterey.  
Opening ceremonies begin at 4:00 on August 4 after the first game. Games start at 2:30, 5:00 and 7:00 daily, with an extra 12:00 noon game on Sunday August 7.  Semifinals are on Wednesday afternoon August 10, with the championship game starting at 7 pm on Thursday August 11.
This will be the nineteenth consecutive year that Monterey PONY Baseball/Softball, Inc. has hosted the PONY Baseball Bronco League World Series.

Line-up of teams: Monterey CA; Salinas CA; Vacaville CA; Evansville East IN; Chesapeake VA; Tamiami FL, Westhills CA; Obregon, Sonora, Mexico; Bayamon, Puerto Rico; Chinese Taipei, Taiwan
